Happy Friday to all the men of ManPlay out there! It is April 20th – which is known as 420 in some quarters – and while we would never advocate doing anything naughty over here, we hope no matter how you ‘celebrate’ (if you are) that you have a fun – and safe! – time at it. Hey John and Terrence!

I just wanted to write you quickly and tell you how much I’ve been enjoying the blog (and the website)! I have never tried dating online before and this site was suggested to me from a friend that has had great luck on it, and I can see why. First off, it’s incredibly easy to navigate. One of the reasons I was apprehensive about signing up for a dating site is I thought it might be hard to use and make sure I could contact all of the men that I was interested in without having to become a lot more comfortable with the Internet in general and spend hours setting up my profile. That couldn’t be further from the truth! I was all set up and filling out my profile in minutes. The FAQ on the site made it really simple for me to find answers quickly if I wasn’t sure what information to put and what not to put. Once I was set up, I literally had a message from someone within an hour wanting to chat. I couldn’t believe it! Since then, I’ve been on many great dates. Haven’t met ‘the one’ yet, but I’m not sure I’m really looking for that, anyway. I’ve really been enjoying the blog here lately. I’ve been reading back through some of the older posts that existed before I found the site and there are a ton of great tips on there. I get really nervous before a first date and I’ve found a lot of pointers that I’ve used to great success lately. I really like the idea that you’ve started doing a report on a movie each Monday as well. I hadn’t heard of Trick before and I became interested in seeing it after reading your piece. It’s really strange that I haven’t seen it, because I mentioned it to a couple of my gay friends on Tuesday and both of them love it and both owned copies! I watched it last night and thought it was hilarious and surprisingly touching too. I can’t wait to see what else you pick. My personal fave is Torch Song Trilogy so I hope you cover that at some point. Anyway, sorry for the long message, but I just wanted to thank you for all your work on the blog and I can’t wait to see what else you have coming up!
