Afternoon to all the gay men of ManPlay, though I have some sad news to be reporting on. Dror Barak, better known to gays as Roman Ragazzi has been found dead in what is believed to be a suicide at the young age of 38. The former gay porn star hasn’t been active in porn since 2008 when he left the field to concentrate on a fitness company that he created, Freedom Fitness, but he previously was named Raging Stallion’s Man of The Year. The studio’s head, Chris Ward, has recently said about Barak: “He was probably the hottest man I have ever filmed — a massive man of pure beauty, intelligence and kindness. He was perfect in every possible way.” Barak was a former Israeli military trainer at the Israeli consulate who was outed in 2007 by Page Six which ended up making Barak resign in the wake of the scandal that followed.

HIs boyfriend confirmed the death and has said that:

“Details are mostly personal depression issues. His business was doing amazingly well and was expanding rapidly and he was so busy he literally could not take any more clients on himself he had to hire more trainers. So it had nothing to do with that. I only say this because he was so proud of his business and I was so proud of him for being such a hard worker and building a business with dedicated top level personal training clients. Despite what anyone thinks Dror was a loving kind person and anyone that would comment and say he wasn’t just probably misinterpreted his shyness as meanness. He was the most gentle, loving, kind, amazing man I have ever met.”
